Hi,
I live and work in Borås, Sweden but originally from Oslo, Norway. I have previously education from Norway and Denmark and graduated as Textile designer BA at The Swedish School of Textile summer 2015. For me textile can take on many faces, both as a material with variety of properties and as a technical tool to achieve new combinations. I find it exiting to work with textiles in a spatial context where the textile can add both tactile and interactive values to its environments. My interest lies for the most in weaving and printing technique, but together with application techniques and mixed-media I try to find new ways of creating. Textile in its self has a strong voice, but in combination with other material is where I believe its benefits speak the clearest language, where the meeting and contrast highlights each other. |
