SOMMERBARN
This piece is my first try at exploration of a damask weave stool with 100 hooks made att Fristad Folkhögskola. The warp and weft is wool Nm 6/2. I wanted to make the colors feel natural with the pattern, so I made a graphical pattern that worked with the size of the hooks going in a strict vertical and horizontal direction. The colors follow the height of each pattern block in order to make a good flow in the composition. The binding/structure is warp- and weft- faced broken twill.

Underneath I gathered different woven samples which where made during my exchange to Kolding Design school, 2014. The samples had a commercial target, both for fashion and for public space.
These designs where presented as inspiration and ideas for fashion textiles, spring/summer 2015, and showcased at the Premier Vision Textile Fair, Paris 2014. Materials: Silk, cotton, wool, crepe cotton, folio-print.
The samples are based on a case study in collaboration with AB Ludvig Svenssson, intend for public space and public traffic. Materials: wool, chenille yarn PES.
